Upon landing in Abu Dhabi for what was supposed to be a quick 1-hour layover en route to Muscat, Oman, we learned that Wizz Air had canceled our second flight on the connected itinerary. They then refused to refund the first leg because we’d already taken it… genius. We found a flight for the next day, so we sprung for The Ritz Carlton Abu Dhabi, which was shockingly cheap at like $150/nt or something ridiculous. When things go sideways, you might as well upgrade your experience and turn the situation into a positive.

Getting the shot: Stunning architecture, but an unfortunately sheep-y experience. We were made to follow a single path with designated “photo stop” zones marked by a sign with a camera on it (vomit) for visitors to take pre-determined photos. Nevertheless, determined to take better photos than the general public, I took this 12-shot HDR composite and compiled it in Lightroom. At 77 megapixels it is ridiculously high resolution and prints very well in large formats. Taken with my favorite prime lens, the Sony 100mm f/2.8 STF GM.

After experimenting with several different printers and types of prints, and speaking with about a dozen different fine art photography gallery owners around the world to pry for their sources, I’ve chosen to work with a renowned print shop in the US who produces superior gallery-level prints. These are statement pieces with superior detail, rich pigments and gloss finishes that will not fade or yellow over time. I have tried several cheaper alternatives, and I feel that these prints best represent my work and will last for years to come.

All prints come with hardware for hanging and do not need any additional framing or components to be ready for display.

Canvas Prints are professional 1 1/2″ thick gallery-wrapped canvas wall art prints. A wire hanger is included as the standard option because they hang perfectly flush to the wall; a sawtooth hanger is a second option (by request only).

Fujiflex Silver Halide Prints use a process inspired by traditional darkroom photography, where light exposure activates unique silver halide crystals in the pigment. Chemical development then reveals the image with unmatched clarity, vibrant color, and smooth, continuous tones. If you’re wondering which print is best, this one is best.

Contact me directly if you desire a frame, specific size or specific editing style.

Allow 7-14 days for processing and production, and 5-7 days for shipping. If you desire a wooden crate or have questions, please ask here.

Due to the print and shipping costs, all sales are final. However, if you have any issues with your print(s), simply let me know and I will work directly with the printer to resolve any issues.
